Wynona Klukas, age 82 of Huron, SD, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2015 at the Violet Tschetter Memorial Home in Huron, SD. Her Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 2, 2015, at the Welter Funeral Home in Huron, with burial at the Restlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery in Huron. Visitation with the family present will be from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at the Welter Funeral Home; or one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Thursday. Wynona Ochsner, the daughter of Theodore and Lydia (Neuharth) Ochsner, was born on May 12, 1932 in Forestburg, SD. She attended school and graduated from Virgil High School. Wynona married Darwin Klukas on November 11, 1951 at the Congregational Church in Alpena, SD. Wynona enjoyed gardening, sewing, and shopping. She loved to spend time with her friends and family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Wynona loved her dogs and listening to music especially Patsy Kline. Grateful for having shared in Wynona's life are her husband, Darwin of Huron; son, Lorin Klukas of Sarasota, FL; three daughters: Linnea (Kenny) Putnam of Rapid City, SD; Kerry (Jim) Rieck of Huron, SD, and Lonna (Henry) Fulda of Morris, MN; seven grandchildren: Lee Putnam, Layne Putnam, Sarah Bowen, Matthew Bowen, Hannah (Clint) Outka, April Jensen, and Eric Jensen; and great-grandchildren, Isabel Rogers and Samuel Outka. Wynona was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Shirley Olson.
