Urban "Butch" Kremer, age 70, of Huron, passed away on January 21, 2021 at Avantara Huron. A memorial visitation, with family present, will be held from 4-6 PM on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Welter Funeral Home. A family service will be held at a later date.

Butch was born on June 28, 1950 in Crofton, Nebraska to parents Wilfred and Delores (Tramp) Kremer. He grew up in Crofton, Pierre, and St. Lawrence. He attended grade school in Pierre and St. Lawrence and high school in Miller.

Butch married Sharon Molyneux on September 27, 1969 in Miller.

Butch lived in Huron for over 48 years. During that time, he was employed at Cenex as a mechanic and a heating and cooling tech for Dale's Heating and Cooling and then for Burnison's Plumbing and Heating.

Butch enjoyed working on engines and worked on race cars with family and friends. Butch also enjoyed hunting and fishing with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon, son, Brent (Shawn) Kremer, daughter Breanne (Todd) Olsen, and son Brandon (Chantelle) Kremer; grandson Logan Kremer, granddaughter Jaelee Olsen, granddaughter and grandson Isabelle and Nash Kremer; sister Carolyn Troth, brother Steven Kremer, brother-in-law Craig Molyneux, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Preceding him in death were a daughter, Mary Ellen; his parents; sister Brenda Helwig and brothers-in-law, William Troth and Ron Molyneux.
