Troy Waters, age 44, of Huron, died on Wednesday, August 31, 2011, at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD. His Funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 9, at Welter Funeral Home in Huron with burial at Restlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery in Huron. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until time of the Service on Friday. Troy Waters, the son of Mervin and Barb (Anderson) Waters, was born on June 5, 1967, in St. Charles, IL. He attended school in the Huron area. Troy worked on the cleaning crew for Dakota Pork, Dress Beef, and Jack Links LSI for many years. Troy enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, fishing, and watching Old Westerns and WWII movies. He took great pride in keeping his yard and his mom's yard looking nice. Troy also took pleasure in being a good neighbor. Grateful for having shared in Troy's life are his son, Christopher; his 4 daughters: Cassie, Belinda, Brandi, and Amber; granddaughters, Khanna and Elena; his mother, Barb Kuper; sister, Darby (Curt) Spain, of Clarksville, TN; 2 uncles, Gene (Dani) Anderson of Huron, SD, and Dennis (Patty) Kuper of Williams Bay, WI; 3 aunts, Evelyne, Darlene, and Audrey; many Waters cousins; 2 great-aunts, Dorothy Snedeker and Betty Bak; 2 nephews, Sgt. Christopher (Sarah) Spain and E-4 Joshua (Robin) Spain; niece, Samantha Spain; great nephew, Caleb Troy Spain; great niece, Lexi Spain; and 3 cousins, Tori (Jeremy) Wels of Mitchell, SD, Amy (Jim), and Aaron. Troy was preceded in death by his father, Mervin Waters; step-father, Terry Kuper; grandparents, Waters and Anderson; step-grandparents, John Kuper and Milton and Billie Meese.
