Todd Schwartz, age 46, of 798 9th St. SW, Huron, died Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at the Huron Regional Medical Center. His funeral service will be at 11:00 AM Friday, November 30th at the American Lutheran Church with Captains Gerry and Donna Loos officiating. Burial will be at Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 1:00 to 8:00 PM at the Welter Funeral Home with the family present from 7:00 to 8:00 PM or one hour prior to the service at the church Friday morning. Todd Alan Schwartz was born on October 22, 1961, to LeRoy and Lila (Welch) Schwartz at Whitehall, Wisconsin. He moved with his family to Huron as a young boy and attended Huron grade schools and graduated from Huron High School in 1982. He worked for the Huron Parks and Recreation Department at the golf course. In 1985, Todd married Nancy Gogolin at Huron. He was then employed with Huron Dressed Beef for many years. For the last 17 years, Todd has been employed at the Center for Independence in Huron. On June 12, 1998, Todd married Tracey Lemme at Huron. His greatest accomplishments are his six children and his hobbies include collecting LP records and attending auctions. He is survived by his wife, Tracey Schwartz of Huron; his six children, Patrick (Anne) Schwartz of Huron, Blake (Lindsey Gerard) Schwartz of Brookings, Kellcey Schwartz, Johnny Schwartz, and twins Kaitlynn Schwartz and Brooklynn Schwartz all of Huron; four grandchildren, Tevin, Tia, Jarren and Blaine all of Huron; his father, LeRoy (Shirley) Schwartz of Huron; three brothers, Tim (Leila) Schwartz of Huron, Tony Schwartz of Rapid City and Tyler (Judy) Schwartz of Huron; nieces and nephews and two great nieces. He was preceded in death by his mother Lila Schwartz and his grandparents.
