Theone Marshall, age 82, of 1289 McDonald Drive, SD, and formerly of Bonilla, SD, died Tuesday, March 6, 2007, at the Huron Regional Medical Center. Her funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 10, at Riverview United Methodist Church with Rev. Kevin Channell officiating. Burial will be at the Bonilla Cemetery. Friends may call Friday afternoon and evening and Saturday morning at the Welter Funeral Home or prior to the service at the church Saturday afternoon. There will be a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM Friday evening at the funeral home. Theone Marshall was born Theone Tilda Arlene Tollefson on October 29, 1924, to Tollak and Stella (Oakland) Tollefson at Bonilla, SD. She grew up in the Bonilla area and graduated from Bonilla High School in 1942. She attended Business School in Huron and graduated in 1943. She was employed with Standard Oil Company in Huron. On November 24, 1944, Theone married Lyle Marshall at Huron. They lived on a farm east of Bonilla. Theone was a bookkeeper for the State Hospital in Redfield, SD. She later was employed at the Federal Credit Union at Armour and Company in Huron. She also was a Home Health Aid for a number of residents in Huron, and was employed at the Adult Day Care in Huron. Theone moved to Huron in 1979 and has lived here since that time. She was a member of Riverview United Methodist Church, and a former member of Bonilla Presbyterian Church. Theone enjoyed sewing, painting, gardening, and made her own cards on the computer and enjoyed e-mailing to friends and relatives. She is survived by her husband, Lyle of Huron; 2 daughters, Sandy (Roger) Kissner of Huron, and Marlis (Bill) Costello of Alexandria, MN; 2 sons, Larry (Cindy) Marshall of Liberia, Africa, and Jack (Midge) Marshall of Huron; 13 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 4 sisters LuVerne (Elwood) Peterson of Huron, Doris (William) Scheibe of Huron, Jeaniene Woodford of Gettysburg, and Arlette (Jack) Harris of Florida; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 son, Kenneth; 1 granddaughter, Sherrie; and 1 sister, Ruth Williams.
