Terri Skovlund, age 62, of Sioux Falls, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at Avera At Home-Doughtery House in Sioux Falls surrounded by her loved ones. Her funeral service will be held at 10:30 on Monday, February 13, 2023, at Welter Funeral Home with burial at Restlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Terri was born May 17, 1960, in Elgin, Illinois to Carol and Allan Bell. She spent her life in Huron, South Dakota, graduating from Huron High School in 1978.  Terri married Michael Skovlund April 1, 1986, and was blessed with 34 years of marriage. Later in life Terri attended Dakota Wesleyan University completing her nursing degree in 1999.

Terri enjoyed crafting in all genres but was known for her beading and knitting. She had an eye for colors and patterns making beautiful creations throughout her life. Terri was a lover of all things makeup and Icy pops. Terri loved with her whole heart, especially her family.

Terri was preceded in death by her parents Allan and Carol Bell, husband Michael Skovlund; Grandmother Ella Hanson; She is survived by her sister Sherri Van Wey, brother Jerry Bell, children Heather Reibsamen and Michael Skovlund as well as many nieces and nephews.
