Tammi Waldner, age 54, of Huron, SD, passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2017 at the Huron Regional Medical Center.  Her memorial service will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday, May 18, 2017 at the Welter Funeral Home in Huron.

Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Tammi McFarlane, the daughter of Merle and Caroline (Deyo) McFarlane, was born on March 15, 1963 in Huron, SD.  She attended school and graduated from Huron High School.  Tammi worked at the Royal River Casino in Flandreau, SD as a Black Jack dealer for several years.   Tammi also worked at various other jobs until her health forced her to retire.

Tammi married Albert J. Waldner on January 16, 1981 in Huron, SD.  To this union were born two sons, Jason and Jeramy.

Tammi was a member of the Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church where she was baptized and confirmed.  She enjoyed playing softball, playing cards, and all types of games.  She also enjoyed bowling and was a member of a bowling league in Madison, SD for many years.  Tammi was a very giving person and was always willing to lend a helping hand.  She loved to volunteer for many of her children's school events.  After her children left home, Tammi volunteered for I.C.A.P.

Grateful for having shared in Tammi's life are her two sons, Jason (Dawn) Waldner and Jeramy Waldner both of Madison, SD; mother, Caroline McFarlane of Huron, SD; two sisters, Laurel (Kevin) Scheel and LeAnn Jackson both of Huron, SD; and many nieces and nephews.

Tammi was preceded in death by her grandparents; her father, Merle McFarlane; and two brothers, Dan and Gene McFarlane.
