Sue E. Ringheimer, 63, of Huron, passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2017, at Huron Regional Medical Center. Her funeral service will be 10:30 am on Saturday, September 2, 2017, at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Huron with interment at Restlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation with the family present will be from 5:30-7:30 pm with a time of sharing beginning at 7:00 pm on Friday, September 1st at the Welter Funeral Home; or visitation one hour prior to the funeral service at the church on Saturday.

Sue was born September 18, 1953, to Donald Sr. and Betty (Dethlefs) Henson in Leesville, Louisiana. They moved to Huron in 1957. She graduated Huron High School in 1971 and Graduated Northwest College of Commerce with an Associate's Degree in Business.

She worked in property management and health care, and for the Huron School District and Huron Mall where she retired in 2017.

She married the love of her life, Robert Ringheimer, in October 1986.

Sue enjoyed spending all her time outdoors. She loved her prized rose bushes and gardening, canning anything she could get her hands on, and making salads. She also loved spending time with her children and their families. Her greatest pleasure in life was spending time with her husband whom she cherished.

Grateful for having shared her life are her husband Robert, her 4 children Dawn (William) Eining III of Huron, Shannon (Bonnie) Hofer Hendricks MN, Kimberly (Jeff) White of Ft Worth Tx, and Misti Hofer of Huron, 2 step children Shane (Rhonda) Ringheimer and Amy (Mike) Hofer both of Huron.

17 dearly loved grandchildren Kenny Jr (Ariel), Nikalus (Joce), Arizona (Wyatt) and Ashton Busch, Christian, Cora, Caleb, Kolton, Levi and Hawk Hofer, Caitlin (Chris) Houlihan, Tiffany, Tessa and Taylor Santistevan, Lexi White, Landen Eichstadt and Jaycee Hofer-Tschetter along with 13 great-grandchildren and 9 step-grandchildren.

2 brothers Danny (Judy) Henson of Huron, Donny (Cheryl) Henson of Missoula Montana, and 2 sisters Terry White, Lona (Vince) Moser both of Huron. Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.

She will be greeted in Heaven by both of her parents Donald and Betty, Her grandparents Daniel and Ruth Dethlefs; Arno and Jenny Sinke, her Uncle Larry Dethlefs and her Aunt Lois Wiegele.
