Shelley Hufford, age 68, of Huron, passed away on Thursday, April 22, 2026 at Huron Regional Medical Center in Huron. A service in memory of Shelley will be held at a later date.

Shelley Mae Robinson was born on September 13, 1957 on Sioux City, Iowa to parents Eugene and Marilyn (Miller) Robinson. She grew up in Sioux City, graduating from North High in 1982. She attended MCI in Chicago from 1990-1991.

Shelley lived in several places including Sioux City, Pueblo, Colorado, Clearwater, Florida, but has called Huron home since 2006. Shelley worked as a CNA at Green Acres in Dakota City, NE for several years.

She enjoyed quilting and cooking in her free time. Shelley married Charles Hufford in Elk Point, SD on October 17, 1996.

She is survived by her husband, Charles of Huron; her daughter, Marilyn Hufford of Live Oaks, Florida; three grandchildren, Tessa, Tatum, and Tristan; siblings, Lynn (Brad) Phllips of Dakota City, NE, George Robinson of Wallhill, NE, and Michael Robinson of South Sioux City, NE.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Amy Robinson; and her parents, Eugene and Marilyn.
