Sharon Reinhardt, age 66, of Huron, passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family. Her memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m on Sunday, December 21, 2025 at Welter Funeral Home in Huron. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Sharon Kay Reinhardt was born on February 14, 1959, in Huron, South Dakota, to Milford and Janice (Ringheimer) Sprague. She attended Huron schools and graduated from Huron High School.

In October of 1978, Sharon was united in marriage to Neil Reinhardt in Huron. The couple made their home in Sioux Falls, where Sharon devoted many years to caring for others as a certified nursing assistant. Later, Sharon and Neil returned to Huron, where she continued her compassionate work as a CNA at Violet Tschetter Nursing Home.

Outside of her work, Sharon found joy in cooking and baking, sewing, playing cards and bingo, working in her yard, completing puzzles, talking on the phone with family and friends, and decorating her home.

Sharon will be missed by her husband, Neil of Huron; daughter Karen (Joe) Mitchell of Tulare; grandchildren Tyler (Becca) Reinhardt, Ashley (Cole) Searing, Courtney (Jason Buckmaster) Odell, Kaitlynn (Jacob) Kahre, and Jayden Mitchell; great-grandchildren, Aeryn, Liam, and Hunter Reinhardt, Owen Searing, and Daniel and River Kahre; her sisters, Linda (Lee) Hedblom of Huron and Diane (Tom) Felderman of Doland.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Milford and Janice; grandparents Benjamin and Ruby Sprague, Art and Ethlyn Ringheimer; and her brother, Rodney Sprague.
