Scott Allen Mueller was born on January 29, 1960 to Harold (Chuck) and Beverly (Jones) Mueller in Huron, SD. Scott grew up on a farm outside of Hitchcock. He graduated from Hitchcock High School in 1978 where he played football. After high school he attended Watertown Vo-tech for a short time.

Prior to Scott's marriage, a daughter Leslie was born. He married Brenda Chapman in December 1981 in Huron. During their marriage they were blessed with three daughters, Jessica, Jacquelyn, and Janelle (Nelly). Scott and Brenda divorced in 2014. During their marriage they raised their family on the Mueller family farm with his parents living across the road.
In his free time you would find Scott gardening, cooking, farming, riding his Harley, bragging about his grandkids, and making people laugh.
