IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Scott A.
Adermann
November 11, 1964 – February 14, 2018
Scott Alan Adermann, age 53, of Huron, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at Huron Regional Medical Center.
His funeral service will be on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 10:30 A.M. at St. John's Lutheran Church in Wolsey with burial at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in Wolsey. Visitation will be from 3-7 PM with the family present from 5-7 PM on Monday, February 19, 2018 at the Welter Funeral Home with a prayer service and time of sharing at 7:00 PM or one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the church.
Scott Alan Adermann was born to Raymond Ernest and Florence Louise Adermann in Wolsey, SD on November 11, 1964. He was baptized and confirmed in St. John's Lutheran Church. He was one of five siblings. Scott grew up in Wolsey and attended Wolsey schools and was a proud member of Wolsey Class of 1983.
Scott married Tonya (Wilcox) DePauw on December 14, 1991. To this union, two sons were born Evan Adermann and Alex Adermann. Scott worked for Randall's and Coborn's for 28 years and had recently been promoted to Assistant Meat Department Manager.
Scott later married Trina Simons on June 17, 2011 and with this union, he inherited three daughters, Shayla Simons, Brandee Simons, and Kiana Simons. He was an avid fisherman, loved playing cards and board games, darts, tinkering, watching Marvel movies, reading a good science fiction book, wood-carving, photography and Star-trek. He also loved catching up with friends and family as well as being an avid napper.
He was an amazing son, brother, uncle, husband, father and step father to all five of his children. He was a very giving man, always quick to lend a helping hand, competitive, quick with his wit and a joke, but always there to listen, help and offer up support to all who might need it.
His leaving makes no sense to us and his absence leaves a sadness that may never ease. He has always been a very devoted family man. An extremely devoted husband and father and coworker. When at work he thought of his family, when at home, he probably thought of work. All in all, Scott was a very good man. He knew what was important in life, God - family - career and worked very hard for them all. Rest now in the arms of Jesus, you have done well.
Scott is survived by his wife, Trina; children, Evan Adermann, Shayla Simons, Alex Adermann, Brandee Simons, and Kiana Simons. Mother; Florence Adermann of Wolsey, SD. Siblings; Raymond Adermann, Annette (Patrick) Casey, Stuart (Shawn) Adermann, Sue (Dave) Mastel. Nieces and nephews; Caleb and McKenzie Adermann, Amber (Austin) McWhorter, Tara Mastel (Danny), Josh, and Paul. Great nieces and nephews; Haleigh, Cadence, Hannah, Alan, Diezel, and Chance.
