Scot Love, age 52, of Huron, passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2020, at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls. A private family service will be held at a later date.

Scot Love, the son of Jim and Margo (Boetel) Love, was born on December 10, 1967 in Mankato, Minnesota.  He graduated from Huron High School in 1986 and attended South Dakota State University and Huron University. Scot was an owner/operator in the family's business for many years.

Scot enjoyed bowling and golfing. Every year he would golf at the Meadowbrook Masters Tournament, winning the Green Jacket twice, an accomplishment he was very proud of.

Scot also enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially his nieces and nephew and cheering on the Indianapolis Colts.

Grateful for having shared in Scot's life are his father, Jim Love of Huron; two brothers, Todd (Holly) Love of Rapid City and Jeff (Darci) Love of Marshall, MN; nieces and nephew, Josie, Tristan, Kelli, and Kami.

Scot was preceded in death by his mother Margo and his grandparents.
