Sandra K. McNutt, age 69, of Huron, passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at the Huron Regional Medical Center. A celebration of Sandy's life will be from 12-3 pm on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at the Huron Elks Club.

Sandy was born on February 22, 1947 in Huron to William and Florence (Lutz) Wait. She was united in marriage to Thomas McNutt on January 13, 1968 at American Lutheran Church in Huron.  Sandy enjoyed playing cards, crossword puzzles, watching tv, collecting teddy bears, her cat "BC", and spending time in her kitchen cooking and baking. She also loved a good laugh and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband Tom McNutt of Huron; two sons, Scott (Heidi) McNutt and Kendall (Deloris) McNutt, all of Huron; one daughter, Tommie McNutt of Huron; 13 grandchildren, Andrew Bobeldyke, Joshua Bobeldyke, Shyanne Jensen, Michael McNutt, Stephanie McNutt, Kathlean J. Raihl, Illyanna R. Janvrin, Brandie A. Zoss, Sitrice M. Johnson, Erin Devine, Tevin L. Nedved, Jordan M. Bechtold, and Tia M. McNutt; 6 great-grandchildren; one brother, Roger Wait of Huron; two brothers-in-law, Terry Paye and Michael (Sandra) McNutt; five sisters-in-law, Carol Schlim, Diane Palmer, Julie (Kevin) LaBrie, Marsha (Gene Weinreis) Jensen, Rhonda (Bob) Stanfield; and many nieces and nephews.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Carol Hines; one brother, Richard Wait; one brother-in-law, Robert "Bob" Schlim; two sisters-in-law; Shelly Palmer and Gloria Paye; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Wayne and Helen (Ferguson) McNutt; two nieces, Melanie Nagel and Amanda Weinreis; and two nephews, Dustin and Bradley Schlim.
