Ruth Culver, of Huron, SD, died Wednesday, August 14, 2013, at Violet Tschetter Memorial Home. A Celebration of Ruth's Life will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 7, at Riverview United Methodist Church, 1640 Simmons Ave. SE, Huron. Everyone is welcome to share memories of Ruth during this time. A private burial service was held on Thursday, August 15, at Riverside Cemetery. Ruth Culver was born Ruth Bevier, daughter of Floyd and Ina (Sargent) Bevier, on a farm south of Cavour, SD. She attended rural school, Huron High School, and Huron College. She taught school for many years. She married Lester Culver. Ruth moved to Huron following the death of her husband. She is survived by 3 children, Colleen (Graham) Smith, Marlys (Abby) Abbondondolo, and Roger (Evonne) Culver.
