Rosemary Olson, age 61, of Huron, died Wednesday, August 18, 2010, at Huron Regional Medical Center.
Her Graveside service will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday August 28, 2010 at the Riverside Cemetery in Huron, South Dakota.
Visitation will from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, August 28, at the Welter Funeral Home in Huron.
Rosemary Klopotek, the daughter of John and Esther Klopotek, was born on January 23, 1949 in Arcadia, WI. She attended school and graduated from Arcadia High School. Rosemary worked at the Winona Fiberite Corporation in Winona, MN, where she met her husband Gordon Olson. They were married on April 23, 1976 in Winona, MN. The couple later moved to Fountain City, WI, and then to Trempealeau, WI. In 1993, they moved to Alpena, SD, where they operated a hobby farm, and to Huron in 2000.
Rosemary is survived by her son, Warren (Shannon) Jepson of Union Grove, WI; her daughter, Barbara (Mark) Broihier of Thousand Oaks, CA; 2 step-sons, John Olson of Highland, WI, and Joe Olson of Dodgeville, WI; 3 grandchildren; 6 step grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 5 step great-grandchildren; and 4 sisters: Theresa Dabelstein, Glenedan Beach, OR, Elizabeth Osolson, Tacome, WI, Marie Roach, Galesville, WI, and Margaret Adank, Independence, WI.
Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Gordon in 2006; 3 brothers, Edward Johnny and Jim Klopotek; and 2 brothers-in-law, Larry Adank Sr. and Thomas Roach.
