Rolland L. Muilenburg, age 87, of Huron, passed away on Monday, October 23, 2023  at Huron Regional Medical Center. His memorial service will be 3 pm on Friday at Welter Funeral Home in Huron with inurnment at St. Paul's Cemetery in Iroquois.

Rolland was born on October 18, 1936 in Huron to parents Leland and Emma (Collison) Muilenburg. He grew up in Huron attending Huron schools.

He married Marcia Rogers on September 1, 1972 in Sheridan, Wyoming. Marcia and Rolland made their home in Billings, Montana from October 1971 to October 2016 when they moved to Huron.

Rolland worked for Consolidated Freightway in Billings, MT and drove bus for Shepherd, MT school district for many years. He loved fishing and watching the Twins and Vikings.

He is survived by his children, Pat Muilenburg of South Dakota, Cindi (Willie) Williams of South Dakota, Monica Muilenburg of Arizona, Darla Sprecher of South Dakota, Ronda Muilenburg of South Dakota, Scott (Lisa) Muilenburg of Billings, MT and Sheila (Rick) Burge of Lyman, Wyoming; many, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded by his parents, his wife, Marcia in 2018, his sister Audrey, his daughter Cheryl Off, and his son Michael Muilenburg.
