Roger Ray Glanzer, age 78, of Huron passed away at his home on Friday, February 28, 2020. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 7 at 2:00 PM at the Bethesda Church of Huron. Memorial gifts may be directed to James Valley Christian School of Huron.
Roger was born on December 28, 1941 in Huron to Joe A. and Margery Glanzer. He grew up in the rural Yale area and graduated from Huron High School in 1960.
He was united in marriage to Jerolyn Pullman in June of 1962. Roger served in the Army National Guard. Through the years he was involved in farming and also in sales.
He is survived by his wife, Jerolyn, two sons, Todd of Yale and Jory (Teri) of Wolsey. Four grandsons, Tyler (Jessica) of George, Iowa, Lee of Sioux Falls, Ryan (Hannah) of Wolsey, and Cole (fiance-Anna) of Waverly, Iowa; 7 great grandchildren, one brother, Reginald of Florida, and 2 sisters-in-law, Tanya (Keith) Glanzer of Carpenter and Laurie Hamm of Huron.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Robert Glanzer, sister Bonita LaVelle and husband Gene and brother-in-law, Alan Hamm.
