Richard Tuffy Larson, age 75, of St. Louis Park, MN died Thursday, July 31, 2008 at home. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, with graveside rites at 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 4, 2008 at Riverside Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Richard Walter Larson was born on April 12, 1933, to Richard and Marie (Baird McNutt) Larson in Huron. He attended school in Huron. Richard moved with the Harman brothers to the Twin Cities as a teenager, he enjoyed camping, hunting, and fishing and racing cars. He loved to collect antique engines. He married Betty Boos in 1953. He retired from Wissota Grinders in Golden Valley, MN, where he did tool and die work. He is survived by his 2 sons, Michael of Minneapolis, MN, and Richard Jr. of Shakopee, MN; his ex-wife Betty also of Shakopee, MN; 1 brother-in-law, Frank Myers of Huron; nephews, Dan Meyers, Tom McNutt, Mike McNutt, niece, Sandy (Cliff) Parkhurst, all of Huron; and numerous nieces and nephews in Minnesota and South Dakota. He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers, Muriel McNutt, Donald McNutt, Dale McNutt, and Wayne McNutt; and 3 sisters, Margie Granger, Margaret Kirton, and Evelyn Meyers.
