Richard Grace, age 87, of Lincoln, NE, formerly of Huron, died Sunday, September 23, 2012, in Lincoln. Lincoln, NE: His funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 28, at Wadlow Rozanek Funeral Home in Lincoln with military honors. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday, September 27, at Wadlow Rozanek Funeral Home with a rosary service at 7 p.m. Huron, SD: His burial service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 2, at St. Martin Cemetery in Huron. There will be no visitation in Huron. Local arrangements are under the direction of Welter Funeral Home. Richard "Dick" Thomas Grace, was born on November 19, 1924, in Huron, SD, to Thomas P. & Carrie (Singsheim) Grace. He was a graduate of Huron High School in 1942. On February 17, 1943, he entered the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was honorably discharged on February 3, 1946. On March 2, 1946, Dick married Mary Alyce McAloon in Huron. They were married for 45 years until her death on February 3, 1991. They lived in South Dakota until 1969 when they moved to Plainview, NE, where Dick owned and operated the Dick Grace Ford & Mercury dealership; relocating to Lincoln, NE, in 1984 where he worked for the local Buick dealership. Upon his retirement he became an antique dealer. Dick enjoyed playing pool, Bridge, and was involved with many teams in the Lincoln area. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Roche (Deborah) Grace of Agoura Hills, CA; 3 grandchildren, Roxanne (Jamin) Grace-Wilcox of CA, Dore Grace of CA, and Ava (Tyler) Johnson of Phoenix, AZ; 4 great grandchildren, Amelie Wilcox, Bijou Wilcox, Winter Johnson, and Wyatt Johnson. He was preceded in death by four sisters; Camilla, Bernice, and Sister M Consolata, and Ruth.
