Richard H. Erdmann, age 73, of Huron, passed away on Friday, April 26, 2019 at his granddaughters' residence in Sioux Falls. Memorial visitation with his family present will be from 5 to 7 pm on Thursday, May 2nd at Welter Funeral Home in Huron with a time of sharing service beginning at 6:30 pm.

Richard Henry Erdmann was born on January 11, 1946 in Huron to parents Ray and Leona (Keller) Erdmann.

Dick married Nancy North in 1969 and they made their home in Huron. Dick worked constructions jobs, Dakota Pork and Swift rendering, and maintenance at the Huron Mall. He enjoyed tinkering on cars, motorcycles and bicycles or anything that needed fixing.  He also enjoyed pheasant hunting, camping and fishing.

He is survived by his wife Nancy of Huron, daughter Renae (Keith Shoemaker) of Huron, two granddaughters Amanda (Jose Carbajal) of Sioux Falls and Delaney of Huron and three great-grandkids, Lilyonna, Vanessa, and Antonio. Sister Judy DeShazer, brothers Dan Erdmann and Tim Erdmann and many other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant sister and one brother-in-law, Lynn DeShazer.
