Rhonda Baker, age 54, of Alpena, SD, passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2014, at her home in Alpena, SD. Her body has been cremated and a private burial will be held at a later date. Rhonda Kay Moeding, the daughter of Richard Moeding and Marilyn (Waldner) Shoultz, was born on November 2, 1959, in Huron, SD. Rhonda was raised and lived a majority of her life in Davenport, Iowa. She attended Davenport Central High School. She was employed by Rudy's Taco's for 23 years and Jack Links LLC for the past 10 years. Rhonda married Robert (Bob) Baker April 29, 1978, at Davenport, Iowa, where they resided until moving to their Alpena farm in 2002. Grateful for having shared in Rhonda's life are her husband, Bob of Alpena, SD; daughter, Jennifer (Kenneth) Sederstrom of Huron, SD; sons, Robert Baker Jr., of Huron, SD, and Jason (Nellie) Baker of Forestburg, SD; 6 grandchildren; her mother, Marilyn Shoultz; brothers, David Moeding, Rodney Moeding, and Jeff Shoultz of Iowa. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Moeding; step-father, Gary Shoultz Sr.; one brother, Gary Shoultz Jr.; and granddaughter, Grace Cristine Baker.
