Pauline H. Hannah, age 95, of 1345 Michigan Ave SW and formerly of Alpena, died Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at the Huron Nursing Home. Her funeral service will be at 10:30 AM Monday, January 28, 2008 at the United Parish of Alpena with Rev. Sarah Herman officiating. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery at Alpena. Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 to 8:00 PM at the Welter Funeral Home with the family present from 6:00 to 7:00 PM or one hour prior to the service at the church Monday morning. There will be a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM Sunday evening at the funeral home. Pauline Hannah was born Pauline H. Krick on February 12, 1912, to Paul and Nora (Schurtz) Krick at Milton, Pennsylvania. She attended grade school in Pennsylvania before moving to South Dakota with her family. On October 5, 1935, Pauline married Thomas Ward Hannah at Mitchell, SD. They lived in Alpena until 1954 when they moved to a farm 2 miles south of Alpena. She was employed at the Alpena Grocery Store for many years. In June 2005, Pauline moved to the Huron Nursing Home. She was a member of the Alpena Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and the Never Give Uppers Club. She loved to sew and she was a good cook and homemaker. She is survived by two sons, Tommy Hannah of Alpena and James Hannah of Huron; one daughter, Deanne (Robert) Keleher of Alpena; four grandchildren, Debra (Forest) Goody, Sheri (Norm) Kaufman, Tim (Kim) Keleher and Todd (Lori) Keleher; 7 great grandchildren; one brother-in-law, Wayne Hannah of De Smet; one sister-in-law, Sylvia Krick of De Smet and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas on August 12, 1975, her parents, four brothers and three sisters-in-law, Ralph (Florence) Krick, Floyd Krick, Harold (Betty) Krick and Earl (Milly) Krick.
