Patrick Winegar, age 59, of Huron, SD, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at his home in Huron. A Celebration of Life service will begin at 6:30 PM, Friday, May 24, 2019 at the Welter Funeral Home.  Visitation will begin at 3 pm until the time of service on Friday.

Patrick Neal Winegar, the son of Earl and Carol (Miller) Winegar, was born on February 26, 1960, in Huron, SD.  He attended school and graduated from Huron High School in 1978. Pat worked at Dakota Pork and then Armours for a time until he and his wife Connie opened PB Sports in 1999.

Pat married Connie Waldner on September 25, 1992 in Huron.

Pat was a member of the Mt. Cavalry Lutheran Church.  Pat enjoyed cars, playing softball, and fishing. He loved supporting his children in their athletic events whether it was hockey, baseball, or cheerleading.  He also enjoyed watching sports especially the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Los Angeles Lakers. Pat loved supporting Huron Tiger athletics as well.

Patrick is survived by his wife, Connie, of Huron, SD; his two children, Damon Winegar of Huron and Kasey (fiancé Gaston Millar) Winegar of Fredonia, KS; his brothers, Scott (Pam) Winegar of Huron, Terry (Marcia) Winegar of Rapid City and Randy (Jackie) Winegar of Huron; parents-in-law Larry and Eileen Waldner, brothers-in-law, Roger (Amy) Waldner and Curtis Waldner, all of Huron.

Patrick was preceded in death by his parents.
