Patti Petersen Coyle, 58, of 1454 Wisconsin Ave. SW, Huron, died Saturday, May 28, 2005, at Sioux Valley Hospital at Sioux Falls. Her funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, June 2, at the First United Methodist Church in Huron with Rev. Richard Rinearson officiating. Burial will be at Restlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday afternoon and evening or Thursday morning at the Welter Funeral Home or prior to the service at the church Thursday afternoon. The reception will be held after the burial at First United Methodist Church for the family and friends. Patti Petersen Coyle was born April 7, 1947, to Bill and Elaine (Otteson) Herr of Gillette, WY. She attended school in Gillette and graduated in 1965. She moved to Buffalo, WY, and found the man of her dreams and was then married to Allen Coyle, on May 20, 1985. She was self-employed in trucking for 10 years, and worked at various construction sites all over. She had done painting, maintenance, and cleaning for many years. The last several years she worked for the Huron Elks, and Bales Continental Commission. Her special joys were her many grandchildren. She had a love for children. She would spend most of her time helping them and making them laugh just to see their smiling faces. Her hobby that she loved to do was crafts. She could take anything and make it into something beautiful. She also enjoyed her Shania Twain music. She could make you laugh just watching her dancing and singing to the music at home or in her car. Patti was just full of fun and laughter, she wasnt just a mother, grandmother, or wife. She was our best friend and the air that we breathed. Patti is survived by her husband, Allen Coyle of Huron; 5 daughters, Tonya Petersen of Huron, Camri Highland of Sioux Falls, Chris Tillman of Huron, Lori Stahl of Huron, and Janet Moser of Aberdeen; she also has 2 sons, Cody Petersen of Huron, and Mark Coyle of Rapid City; Patti has 18 grandchildren, Chasidy, Maria, Shantell, Hunter, Danial, Loren, Byron, Cameron, Brianna, Jayleen, Kia, Tavean, Brandon, Ashley, Auston, Haley, Heather, and Josh; and 2 sisters, Shelly Wright, and Sandra Rizman; 2 brothers, Bill Herr, and Terry Herr. She was preceded in death by her mother, Elaine Herr, and father, Bill Herr.
