Patricia Halling, age 63, of Pierre, SD, died Friday, August 23, 2013, at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls. Her body has been cremated and no services are being planned. Patricia Halling was born Patricia Ann Chell, daughter of Orville and Muriel (Van Heel) Chell, on May 26, 1950, in rural Sisseton, SD. She grew up and received her education in the Sisseton area. She married Gene Halling and later married Herb Killam. She is survived by 3 daughters, Brenda Halling of Billings, MT, Shantae Halling of Sioux Falls, and Tammy Halling; several grandchildren; 1 brother, Darrell Chell of Huron; and 1 sister, Donna Curry of Boulder City, NV. She was preceded in death by her parents; and 1 brother, Jim Chell.
