Pamela Zoss, age 51, of Huron, died Monday, August 6, 2012, at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls. Her funeral service will be 2:00 pm Thursday, August, 9, 2012, at Welter Funeral Home in Huron with burial at St. Martin Catholic Cemetery. Visitation with family present will be Thursday, August 9, 2012, one hour prior to the service at Welter Funeral Home. Pamela Kay Zoss was born on October 13, 1960, in Aberdeen, SD, to Casper and Arlene (Heidner) Axtman. Shortly after her birth, her family moved to Huron. Pamela attended Huron schools before attaining her GED. She then attended Job Corps in Box Elder where she graduated with honors. Pamela married George Zoss on October 5, 1991, in Huron. Pamela collected Coca Cola items. She liked drawing, music, all animals, Harley Davidson Motorcycles, and spending time with her children and their friends. Pamela is survived by her husband, George of Huron; two children, Khrystyna Axtman of Redfield, and Allen Zoss of Aberdeen; step-children, Kevin Zoss of Fargo, ND, and Halli Zoss of Chicago; brothers, Mike (Sharon) Axtman of Byron, MN, and Steve Axtman of Weed, CA; sisters, Mary (Ron) Gilbert of Hitchcock, and Patricia Axtman of Trinidad, CA; several niece and nephews. Pamela was preceded in death by her parents and a nephew, Gregory Axtman.
