Pamela Busch, age 60, of Shakopee, MN, and formerly of Watertown, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, June 9, 2009, after a 15-year battle with cancer.
Her funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 13, at First United Methodist Church in Huron with burial at Riverside Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday from 1-8 p.m. at Welter Funeral Home with the family present from 6-8 p.m. and a Prayer Service at 7 p.m.; or Saturday morning one hour prior to the service at the church.
Pam Busch was born Pamela Ann Stanton on December 5, 1948, to David and Joyce (Jenson) Stanton, in Watertown, SD. She graduated from Watertown High School in 1967.
On June 13, 1970, Pam married Richard Dick Busch in Watertown, SD. The couple lived in Watertown, Pierre, and Alliance, NE, over a period of several years; Shakopee in 1980; Prior Lake, MN, in 2000; and back to Shakopee in 2004.
Pam worked for many years in the retail/service industry, including Spies SuperValu and Hagger Drug Store, both in Watertown; Kmart and Video Update, both in Shakopee, and Prior Lake Natural Health in Prior Lake, MN.
She enjoyed collecting figurines, scrapbooking, photography, singing in church, and spending time with family and friends. Through the church, she sponsored children from Third-World countries.
She will be loved and forever missed by her husband, Dick of Shakopee, MN; 2 sons, David Busch of Shakopee, MN, and Tim Busch of Shakopee, MN; 2 brothers, David Stanton of Watertown, SD, and Bill Stanton of Watertown, SD; brothers-in law and sisters-in-law, Verla Busch of Huron, SD, Lyle and Donna Meyers of Huron, SD, Leroy and Mavis Flattum of Huron, SD, Milford and Glenis Busch of Spirit Lake, IA, Robert and Peggy Busch of West Warwick, RI, Roger and Debbie Busch of San Diego, CA, and Dennis and Zola Mediger of Sioux Falls, SD; many uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robin Stanton; brother-in-law, Don Busch; and sister-in-law, Barbara Brown.
