Norma Engelhart, age 72, of 1900 Arizona Ave. SW, Huron, died Wednesday, May 17, 2006, at the Huron Nursing Home. Her memorial service will be at 7:00 PM Saturday, May 20, at the Welter Funeral Home with Rev. Rhonda Wellsandt-Zell officiating. Her body has been cremated and there will be no visitation. Norma Engelhart was born Norma J. Bloodgood on July 25, 1933, to Elmer Bud and Mary (Furman) Bloodgood at Huron, SD. Her childhood years were spent on a farm in Beadle County. She later moved to Minnesota for a short period of time before moving to San Diego, CA. There she met and married Robert Baumer. They returned to Huron where she spent the rest of her life. Norma later married Charles Engelhart. She is survived by her husband, Charles of Huron; 2 children, Richard Furman of Sioux Falls, and Ronda (Vince) Baumer White of Dallas Lake, TX; 3 grandchildren, Lana Furman of Rapid City, Christal Furman of Rapid City, and Michael Schnider of Sioux Falls; 7 great grandchildren; and 1 sister, Lois (Rance) Perleberg of Huron; 1 brother-in-law, Ferd Zell of Huron; and 1 sister-in-law, Darlene Bloodgood of Burlington, WA. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Robert Baumer on October 29, 1988; 1 daughter, Vicky Schnider; 1 granddaughter in infancy; 3 sisters, Fern Moser, Phyllis Zell, and Arlette Lundberg; 1 brother, Ralph Bloodgood; and 2 brothers-in-law, Jim Moser, and Lester Lundberg.
