Nadine R. Meyers, age 77 of Huron, died on Tuesday, November 9, 2010, at Violet Tschetter Memorial Home in Huron, SD.

Her Memorial Service with burial at Restlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Huron, SD, will be held at a later date.

Nadine R. Johnson, the daughter of Samuel Leonard and Elsie Viola Johnson, was born on March 4, 1933, in Letcher, SD.

Nadine married Le Roy (Bud) Meyers on September 16, 1950. in Huron, SD. Nadine was a homemaker, and worked as a manager for Maurices Stores in Seattle, WA, Eau Claire, WI, and Huron,SD. Nadine also worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for Riverton Heights Nursing Home in Seattle, WA.

Nadine was a member of American Lutheran Church in Huron and a member of Red Hats Society of Huron. She loved animals and enjoyed cooking. Nadines children were very important to her and she loved to spend time with her extended family and friends. Nadine was especially thankful for all of the care and support she received from her sister, Ione, and good friend, Bernie.

Grateful for having shared in her life are her son, Michael (Lynn) Meyers of Holladay, UT; daughter, Victoria (Barry) Warren of Des Moines, WA; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 4 sisters, Ione (Floyd) Ferguson, of Huron, SD, Sonja (Gene) Nonast, of Whitewood, SD, Pam (Kenny) Harmon, of Newell, SD, and Roxy (John) Cooper of Whitewood, SD; step-mother, Thelma Johnson of Whitewood, SD; her nieces and nephews; and her special friend, Bernie Hanson, of Huron, SD.

Nadine was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Elsie Johson; her husband, LeRoy (Bud) Meyers; son, Rodney Lee Meyers; 2 daughters, Terri Lynn Meyers, and Debbie Darlene Diermyer; grandson, Justin Meyers; son-in-law, Kim Walker; and sister Carol Auer.
