Myrna Leachman, age 63, of Huron, passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at Huron Regional Medical Center in Huron. Her funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Huron, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery in Huron. Visitation, with her family present, will be from 5-7 p.m., on Friday, March 1, 2024 at Welter Funeral Home with a prayer service to begin at 6:30 at the funeral home. Visitation will also be one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday morning.

Myrna May Leachman was born to Norman and Maxine (Hotchkiss) Schley on November 12, 1960 in Huron. She attended school in Huron and graduated from Huron High School in 1979. She worked various jobs throughout her life with her most recent job being at Godfather's Pizza.
On December 3, 1982 she married Michael W. Leachman in Huron. They made their home in Wolsey before moving to Huron.
She was a life-long member of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church. She enjoyed bowling, playing bingo, being with her family, watching car races, crocheting, knitting, and playing cards and various games with family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Michael of Huron, two children Jessica Kuhns (Jeremy Muilenburg) of Clark, and Joshua (Amy) Leachman Sr of Huron, 5 grandchildren, Hailie Hiles (Logan Jenson) of Volga, Joshua Leachman Jr and Ethan Huehl of Huron, CJ Hart and Jeremiah Muilenburg of Clark, 1 great-grandchild, Easton Hiles of Volga; siblings Karen (Russell) Donovan, Rodney (Jane) Schley, and Twila (Terry) Gascoigne all of Huron, sisters-in-Law, Carol Hubert of Georgia, Una Mae Hofer of Wolsey, Cindy Johnson of Huron, Millie Newton of Arizona, brothers-in-laws Lloyd Brotherton of Wolsey, George Brotherton of Aberdeen, Wyatt Brotherton of Huron and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents, 1 nephew Nicholas Schley, 1 niece Kayla Donovan, and 1 brother-in-law James Leachman.
