Mrs. Don (Myrna) Frohoff, age 67, of Wolsey, SD, died Friday, August 13, 2004, at Sioux Valley Hospital at Sioux Falls. Her funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Monday, August 16, at the Welter Funeral Home with Pastor Jan Price officiating. Burial will be at Altoona Cemetery, rural Hitchcock. Friends may call Sunday afternoon and evening or one hour prior to the service on Monday at the Welter Funeral Home. Myrna Grace Woodard was born on November 5, 1936, to Guy and Vera (Marshall) Woodard at Huron. She received her education in Huron and graduated from Huron High School in 1954. In 1955, Myrna married Ed Jackson. In 1958 they moved to the Lake of the Ozarks, MO, area where they lived for 14 years. Myrna returned to Huron in February of 1972. On April 16, 1972, Myrna married Don Frohoff at Redfield. Over the years she worked at Raven Industries, Walker Flower Shop, Sundance Liquor, Jack & Jill, Wrapit, MidCom, Job Service, and presently as a loan officer for DeLay Check Loans. In addition to being with her family and especially her grandchildren, her many interests included flower gardening, reading, crossword puzzles, and attending rummage sales. She is survived by her husband, Don of Wolsey; 2 sons, Guy Jackson of Camdenton, MO, and Steven (Kay) Frohoff of Pierre; 3 daughters, Sharon (Stephen) Dodson of Macks Creek, MO, Veda Obermann of Huron, and Barbara (Alan) Quiram of Huron; 1 step-son, Gene (Regina) Frohoff of Stoutland, MO; 12 grandchildren, Annie, Jessica, Lucas, David, Chris, Seth, Eddie, Maria, Jason, Sierra, Alan, and Ashley; 10 great grandchildren; and many beloved aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 daughter, Patricia Ann Jackson Dodson; and an infant sister.
