Miriam Aurora Delcid Garcia Zamora, age 60 of Huron, SD, passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2020 at the Huron Regional Medical Center.  A private family service will be held at a later date.

Miriam Aurora Delcid Garcia Zamora, the daughter of Ramiro and Martha (Garcia Zamora) Delcid, was born on August 30, 1959 in Guatemala, where she attended school and graduated from High School.  Miriam moved to the United States in 1974. Miriam worked many different jobs during her career, but the most important and precious of these was raising her three children: Martha, Katie and Alexander.

Miriam enjoyed dancing and music.  She also enjoyed attending church. Miriam loved cooking and spending time with her family and friends especially her grandchildren and great-grandchild.

Grateful for having shared in Miriam's life are her three children: Alexander (Yamille) Melgar of Huron, SD, Martha (Joel) Garcia of Aberdeen, SD and Katie (Jonathan) Donato of Lawton, OK; her  eight grandchildren: Kimberly, Jasmine, Janine, Angel, Wenseslao, Makeyla, Jonathan, and Jenaiah; great-grandson, Christopher; her siblings, Catalina, Ramiro, Alvaro, and David; and several nieces and nephews.

Miriam is now reunited with her grandparents and parents.
