Michele (Mikki) Moeller, age 41, of Huron died Tuesday December 23, 2014 at the Huron Regional Medical Center in Huron, South Dakota. Her burial and private prayer service will be held at Restlawn Memory Gardens in the spring. A time of renewal and rebirth, spring was Mikki's favorite time of year. Michele (Mikki) Jean Moeller was born August 22, 1973 in Huron to William F. and Debbie (Campbell) Moeller. She attended school in Huron and graduated from high school in 1991. Mikki lived in Miller, Pierre and Sioux Falls, always returning to her Huron roots. At the time of her death, Mikki was employed as a CNA at the Violet Tschetter Memorial Home. Being a CNA was her lifelong vocation. She loved listening to the stories that the VTMH residents told her. She said they made her smile. She touched so many lives, throughout her life and career, with her warm smile and comforting way. Mikki's family and friends were very important to her. Many of her lifelong friends and co-workers that became friends came to see her when she was in the hospital. And she loved animals, especially her dog, Maddie and her cat, Cujo. Grateful for having shared in her life are her daughter, Jenna Moeller of Huron; her sister Hope (Kenny) Gordon and Cooper, Tate, Avery and Travis Gordon of Hitchcock, SD; her mother, Debbie Thompson of Huron; her grandmother Betty Campbell of Huron; her aunts Dixie (Mike) Ball of Huron; Tammy (Randy) Oligmueller of Miller; Sheila (Larry Wiygul) Sutton of Waverly, TN; Kim Moeller of Huron; Dolane (Wayne) Prien of Huron; uncle Tim (Susan) Moeller of Oregon and her cousins whom she truly adored. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather John Campbell of Huron, her step-father TK Thompson of Huron, her father William Moeller of Alaska, her paternal grandparents Dean and Doris Moeller of Alaska, and her uncle Greg Moeller of Alaska.
