Michael Will, of Sioux Falls and formerly of Huron, SD, beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 14, 2012, at Golden Living Center Covington Heights in Sioux Falls, SD, following a lengthy but courageous battle with Parkinson's. He was 48. His funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 21, at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish with Father Michael Kelly co-officiating. Burial will be at St. Martin Cemetery. Visitation with family present will be Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at Welter Funeral Home with a scripture service at 6:30 p.m.; or Monday morning one hour prior to the service at the church. Mike was born on January 27, 1964, in Huron, South Dakota, to Dr. William and Norma Will. He attended school in Huron and graduated from Huron High School in 1982 with highest honors. Tennis was Mike's sport of choice during his high school years. After graduation, he pursued a bachelor's degree in accounting at USD Vermillion graduating "cum laude" in 1986. His accounting career stated at Charles Bailey & Company in Sioux Falls as a CPA. In 1990, Mike's journey took him to Rapid City where was the assistant controller for Old Home Bakery. With a return to Sioux Falls in 1996, Mike enjoyed work as a controller with Campbell Supply Company until ill health forced his early retirement in 2003. Mike was a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity; Knights of Columbus; and the Catholic Church. His love for the Colts was lifelong and his knowledge of investing and sports was vast and never-ending. Mike also held a passion for food, always seeking out a new restaurant to try. He is survived by his parents, Dr. William and Norma Will of Huron; his twin sister, Michelle (Ronald) McCoy of Puyallup, WA; one brother, Kyle Will of Huron; three nieces, Ashlyn McCoy, Bryanne McCoy, and Erin McCoy, all of Puyallup, WA. He was preceded in death by 5 uncles; and all of his grandparents.
