Michael L. Muilenburg, age 67, of Huron, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2020 at Huron Regional Medical Center in Huron. His private family service will be on Friday, July 17, 2020 at Welter Funeral Home with burial at St. Martin's Cemetery in Huron.

Michael Lee Muilenburg was born on June 13, 1953 to parents Rolland and Bonnie (Seger) Muilenburg. He attended Huron area schools, graduating from Huron High School.

Michael worked as a maintenance man for Huron Regional Medical Center for many years until his retirement. He enjoyed crossword puzzles, fishing, and car racing. He cheered for the Minnesota Vikings and Twins. Spending time with his family and friends, and especially his grandchildren was important to him. He also enjoyed watching the news.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and sister Cheryl Drew.

Michael is survived by his parents, Rolland Muilenburg of Huron and Bonnie Youngerman of Sioux Falls; his children, Mikki (Ryan) Muilenburg of Huron and Jeremy (Jessica) Muilenburg of Clark and; 5 grandchildren, Courtney, Alexander, Gracie and Isabella Ruggiero and Jeremiah Muilenburg; brother Pat Muilenburg of Watertown; sisters Cynthia (Wilbur) Williams of Huron, Monica (Andy) Muilenburg of El Mirage, AZ, Darla Sprecher of Huron, and Ronda Muilenburg of Sioux Falls; half-brother, Scott Muilenburg of Montana, and half sisters Sheila Burge of Wyoming and MaryLynn Albrecht of Oklahoma; and many nieces and nephews.
