Michael D. Busch, age 77, of Huron, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at Huron Regional Medical Center. His memorial service will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at Welter Funeral Home with inurnment at Riverside Cemetery. Memorial visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Michael Dean Busch was born on January 6, 1949 in Huron, South Dakota to parents Hugo and Evelyn (Welch) Busch. He attended Huron schools.

Michael worked lawncare for many years.

He is survived by his sisters, Janet (Lyle) Swanson of Huron and Linda (Jim) Vandel of Sioux Falls; and his sons, Matt (Debbie) Busch and Jerrod (Amy) Busch, all of Huron.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Gary.
