Marvin Miller, age 62, of Huron, SD, passed away on Monday, April 23, 2012, at the Huron Regional Medical Center in Huron, SD. A Family Gathering will be held from 2-5 p.m. on Saturday, April 28, 2012, at Welter Funeral Home in Huron, SD, with burial of his cremated remains at a later date. Marvin Miller, the son of Glen C. and Clara (Tschetter) Miller, was born on June 2, 1949, in Huron, SD. He attended school in the Hitchcock area. Marvin worked as a construction laborer for many years. Marvin was active in several committees at the Bradfield Leary Center in Huron. He enjoyed playing pool, and was very proud of the fact that he was in charge of the pool room at the Bradfield Leary Center. Marvin was able to purchase his own home 10 years ago, and enjoyed gardening, especially growing tomatoes. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and his dog, "D". Grateful for having shared in Marvin's life are his 2 brothers, Dale (Susan) Miller, of Aurora, CO and Rick (Julie) Miller of Hitchcock, SD; and a niece and 6 nephews.
