Marvel Conner, age 90, of San Antonio Tlayacapan, Jalisco, Mexico, died December 31, 2009, (on her birthday) at her home.

The burial service of her cremated remains will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 25, at St. Martin Cemetery.

There will be no visitation.

Local arrangements are under the direction of Welter Funeral Home of Huron.

Marvel Elizabeth Tyrell, daughter of Ray and Eunice Tyrell, was born on December 31, 1919, in Bancroft, SD.

In June 1940, Marvel married Perry Conner in Mitchell. They moved to Montana in 1951, where Marvel worked as a buyer for a local department store in Billings, MT, for many years.

She moved with her daughter, Patricia Trish Conner, to Mexicos Lake Chapala in 1999. Marvel was known in the community for her quick wit and broad sense of humor.

She was a member of San Andrs Catholic Church in Ajijic, Mexico.

Marvel is survived by her daughter, Trish Conner of Jalisco, Mexico.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Perry; and 3 brothers, Daniel Tyrell, Dodd Tyrell, and James Tyrell.
