Mark A. Allerdings, age 49, of Huron, SD, passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2019, at the Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls.  His Memorial Service will be at 1:30 PM on Friday, May 3, 2019 at Welter Funeral Home in Huron. A private family burial will be held at Restlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mark Anton Allerdings, the son of Rueben and Delores (Hinkley) Allerdings, was born on February 24, 1970, in Huron.  He attended school and graduated from Huron High School in 1988. He then furthered his education at Huron University and graduated with an Associate Arts degree (A.A.) in 1991. Mark worked as a Youth Supervisor at Our Home and was an employee of the year.

Mark was an independent spirit. He enjoyed reading books, especially science fiction. Mark also enjoyed listening to music, watching movies, and staying up to date on his Denver Broncos. He loved Star Wars and was a science fiction enthusiast.

Grateful for having shared in Mark's life are his parents Rueben and Delores Allerdings of Huron; siblings, Ranae (Balaji) Naidu of Brookings, Kevin Allerdings of Watertown, and Jolene (Jose, Jr.) Bustamante of Portales, NM; 4 nieces and 5 nephews; and many extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his infant brother Travis Allerdings as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.
