Maria P. Wipf, age 75, of Spink Colony, died Friday, December 11, 2015 at Huron Regional Medical Center.

Her funeral service will be at 2pm on Monday, December 14, 2015 at Spink Colony with burial in the Spink Colony Cemetery.

Maria was born to Paul and Katie Wipf at Bon Homme Colony. She moved to Spink in 1947 and was baptized in the Lords name in 1959. Maria enjoyed knitting and giving her knitted items away as gifts to her family and friends. She loved to visit with people and was a very patient person, especially in the last month as her health began to decline.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Katie; 2 brothers, John and Jake; and 2 sisters, Annie and Katherina.

Left to mourn: Susie (Jake) of Brentwood, Annie of Spink, Sara of Spink, Katherina (Sammy) of Thunderbird, Caludia (Alvin) of Thunderbird, Barbara (Daniel) of Ridgeville, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
