Lynn (Curly) Engebretson, of Huron, passed away at his home at the age of 81 years. His memorial service will be held at a later date.

Lynn D. Engebretson was born on August 3, 1938 to Lloyd and Elva (Bolland) Engebretson in Jasper, Minnesota. They later moved to Huron.

Lynn served in the United States Navy and served with the Seabee's. After leaving the Navy, he was employed as a carpenter and worked with his dad for many years and other contractors in Huron. He built many homes in Huron.

On December 11, 1962, he married Kaye Thompson in Alpena and they had three sons, Kelly, Chris, and Kurt. He loved to play pool and bowl in his later years. He also enjoyed putting puzzles together.

He is survived by his sons, Kelly and Kurt of Huron, and Chris (Amber) of Beaverton, Oregon; grandkids, Emma, Makalah, Savanna, Spencer, Xander, Gunnar, and Cooper; siblings, Dale, Carol, Janey, Gary, Bonnie, and Cheryl.

He was preceded in death by a grandson, Noah; his parents; and sisters June and Evelyn and brothers Dave and Dennis.
