Lynette K. Muellenberg, age 54, of Huron, SD passed peacefully at her home surrounded by her friends and family on Wednesday, June 8, 2016.

Her memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at American Lutheran Church in Huron.

Visitation, with the family present, will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, at Welter Funeral Home; or visitation one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.

Lynette K. Muellenberg, the daughter of Gordon W. and Madonna M. (Littel) Muellenberg, was born on August 23, 1961 in Redfield, SD.  She attended high school in Redfield.    Lynette also attended Pierre School of Practical Nursing and received her LPN Degree in 1982.

Lynette was kind, caring and compassionate to those she served and would always bring a smile to the face of everyone she met.

Lynette enjoyed shopping, gardening, flowers, and taking care of her home. She also enjoyed Harleys and Hot Rods. Lynette loved spending time with her family and friends.

Grateful for having shared in Lynette's life are her three daughters, Wendy Johnson of Aberdeen, SD, Stephanie Johnson of Redfield, SD, and Lindsay Bales of Minneapolis, MN; Danny Meyers, the love of her life; four grandchildren, Lester and Benson Beckler, and Dylan and Sullivan Stahl; her father, Gordon Muellenberg and friend Sharon; two sisters, Lisa (special friend, Doug) Muellenberg of Redfield, SD and Lori Eaton of Bozeman, MT; her brother, Mark (Sheila) Muellenberg of Rockham, SD and several nieces and nephews.

Lynette was preceded in death by her mother, Madonna Muellenberg; and sister, Leah Muellenberg.
