Lorin L. Lucklum, 62, Huron, SD passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at the Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls.  His funeral service will be 10:30 am on Saturday, August 26th at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish with interment following at Riverside Cemetery. Visitation with the family present will be 5-7 pm on Friday, August 25th at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish in Huron followed by a scripture prayer service beginning at 7 pm; or visitation one hour prior to the funeral service at the church on Saturday.

Lorin was born December 4, 1954 to Eugene and Catherine (Dahl) Lucklum in Huron.  Lorin was raised in the Huron area and graduated from Huron High School. Following graduation, he pursued his passion and attended school for auto body. He worked for many years for G&H Body Shop. He then furthered his education in electrical drafting and was working for WAPA. His love for cars and family was only exceeded by his love for God.

On June 25, 1988, he married Bobbi Kaufman in Lefor, ND. They were blessed with two children, Mindy in 1992 and Andrew in 1996.

Lorin is survived by his wife, Bobbi Lucklum, Huron; children, Mindy Lucklum, Dickinson, ND, Andrew Lucklum, Huron; mother, Catherine Lucklum, Huron; one sister, Barb (Gary) O'Riley, Huron; three brothers, Larry (Mary) Lucklum, Huron, Dale (Cheryl) Lucklum, Huron, Mark (Sarah) Lucklum, Summerset, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Elven and Kathy Kaufman, Lefor, ND and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Lucklum.
