Lois G. Wade, age 98, of Huron, SD formerly of Wolsey, SD, passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at SunQuest Healthcare Center in Huron.

Her funeral service will be 10:00 AM Monday, February 19, 2018 at Welter Funeral Home in Huron, with burial at Restlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery, Huron.

Her visitation will be from 9:00 AM until the start of the service on Monday.

Lois G. Rundell, the daughter of John and Goldie (Perryman) Rundell, was born on August 10, 1919 in Rural Hurley, SD. She attended School and graduated from Manchester High School. Lois also attended Madison Normal and received her Teacher's Certificate. Lois taught school in Kingsbury County for two years. She also worked for Fry Motor Company as their book keeper for many years before retirement.

Lois married Levi Wade in January of 1946 at Huron, SD. The couple lived in Wolsey, SD before moving to Huron, SD. Lois lived at SunQuest Village for 17 years before moving to SunQuest Healthcare Center in 2013.

Lois was a member of Wolsey Presbyterian Church, Wolsey Presbyterian Women and Hershman-Gordon American Legion Women's Auxiliary.

She enjoyed knitting, reading, gardening, and taking care of her flowers. Lois was a gifted seamstress who sewed much of her and Levi's clothes.

Grateful for having shared in Lois' life is her special cousins, Steven Merrit of Wolsey, SD and Lowell Anderson of Hurley, SD; and her good friends, Brenda (Jim) Ruedebusch and Mavis Rambaugh.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Levi in 1998.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Wolsey Presbyterian Church, which was very near and dear to Lois.
