Lois Gitchell, 86 years old, of Huron, SD, went to Jesus on Friday, May 3rd, at Avera McKennan Hospital, in Sioux Falls, SD. Her three daughters were at her side. A private family ceremony will be held at a later date. Lois was known as Loey, Nonnie, Grandma, and Mom. All who knew her were blessed and never the same. Her gentle spirit touched everyone she met. She was one of God's greatest. She loved with a love so pure that her loved ones knew nothing else on earth really mattered. Lois had no doubt in her faith. She told us to talk to God just like we talk to our earthly father. God loves us so, he just wants to be with us and see us laugh and love. God's pure love is embracing her now and the angels are singing. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, M. Tracy Gitchell, daughter, Andrea Hennessey (Bill), daughter Vanessa Carlson (Joe), daughter, Denise Gitchell (Clive), grandchildren, Cole Hennessey, Callie Hennessey Bowman (Matt), Adam Carlson, Amy Carlson, and nephews and nieces.
