Linda Belew Wilson, age 67, of 1939 McDonald Drive, Huron, died Wednesday, January 25, 2006, at Methodist Hospital at Rochester, MN, after a long courageous battle with cancer. Her Memorial Service will be at 2:00 PM Monday, January 30, at the Welter Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. William Pfautz officiating. Inurnment of her cremated remains will be at Black Hills National Cemetery at Sturgis at a later date. Memorials may be directed to Relay for Life, which Linda enjoyed and participated in for 6 years. Linda Wilson was born on October 25, 1938, at West Point, Indiana, to Lindsey and Mattie (Harris) Belew. She graduated from Loretta High School at Loretta, TN, in 1956. On December 31, 1956, Linda married Richard Wilson at Iuka, Mississippi. They lived all across the country due to her husband being in the military. They moved to Huron in 1983, where Linda was a secretary for Harrington & Hein Accounting Company. Family and friends were Lindas life. She loved being around people and especially enjoyed going to the Tailgate Restaurant. She enjoyed bowling, her Roosters, and had a special place in her heart for her many guardian angels. She is survived by her husband, Richard C. Wilson, Jr. of Huron; 1 son, Richard C. (Pamela) Wilson III of Nixa, MO; 1 step-son, David (Becky) Wilson of Glendale, AZ; 4 grandchildren, Beth Wilson of Burbank, CA, Angie Wilson of Bennington, NE, David Wilson, Jr. of Phoenix, AZ, and Jennifer Wilson of Glendale, AZ; 3 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Jean Belew of Lawrenceburg, TN; a special cousin, Robert (Virginia) Wiley of Mobile, AL; 2 brothers-in-law, Tom (Janeane) Wilson of Arlington, NE, and George E. (Virginia) Wilson of Ft. Collins, CO; 1 sister-in-law, Linda (David) Dolinsky of Elkhorn, NE; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents.
