Lila L. Taylor, age 82, of Osseo, MN, and formerly of Huron, died Sunday, December 7, 2014 at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids, MN. Her funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Monday, December 15 at the Huron Church of the Open Bible with burial at Restlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-6 pm on Sunday at Welter Funeral Home with a prayer service at 5 pm; or one hour prior to the funeral service at the church on Monday. Lila was born on February 17, 1932 in Beadle County to Willis (Elvida Ericksen) Stuart. She married Glen Taylor on June 14, 1958 in Huron. Lila enjoyed singing and writing music. Two of her songs can even be found on YouTube. She also enjoyed spending time socializing with her family and friends, walking, and dancing. She was a devoted member of Huron Church of The Open Bible and was a true believer in Jesus Christ. She is survived by 2 sons, Roby (Mary Lou) Taylor of Sioux Falls and Terry (Cheryl) Taylor of Champlin, MN; 3 daughters, VaDean (Jerry) Kosub of Athens, TX, Sherry (Kirt) Centela of Michigan, and Sandra (Bruce) Johnson of Zimmerman, MN; 12 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Agnes Gilchrist of Iroquois, SD, and Bonnie (Ed) Morgan of Miller, SD. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Glen in 2008; 1 brother, Darold; and 1 sister, Joyce.
