Lenore L. Steinmetz, age 59, of Huron, passed away at her daughter's home with family by her side. A memorial service to celebrate Lenore's life will be 10:30 am on Friday, August 28 ^th at Welter Funeral Home in Huron. Memorial visitation will be from 10 am until service time.

Lenore was born on March 5, 1961 in Huron where she was raised and attended school before moving to Forest Hills, California where she graduated from high school. She later graduated with an associates of arts degree in Nebraska. She enjoyed playing cards, unicorns, and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by four children, Justin (Brandy) White of Lincoln, NE, Krystal White of Huron, Travis (Stacey) White of Cavour, and Augustus Steinmetz of Huron; 14 grandchildren, Araya, Destiny, Autumn, Jasmine, Anfernee, Justice, Patience, Allyssa, Jaslynn, Mary Jane, Rubin, Nolan, Alanna, and Karmen;  one great grandchild, Elizabeth; three uncles, Allyn (Virginia) Simonich of Sioux Falls, Freddy (Marsha) Coil, of Huron, and Rodney (Kathie) Coil of Belvidere, IL; and her companion Dave Johnson of Huron.

Lenore was preceded in death by her son, Frederick Berriman Salter, mother, Dorinda Huth, and grandparents, Marvin and Lucille Coil.
