Lena S. Parsons, age 53, of Cavour, passed away on Monday, August 8, 2022 at her home in Cavour. Her memorial service will be at 1:30 PM on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Welter Funeral Home with burial at Union Township Cemetery in rural Carpenter, SD. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Lena Sue Parsons was born on October 11, 1968 in Paynesville, MN to parents Douglas and Marvilyn (Iverson) Albright. She grew up in Eden Valley, Paynesville and Iroquois, SD, graduating in 1987.

She married Derrick Dalton who passed away in 2001. Lena then married Gary Parsons.

Lena enjoyed playing cards, doing crafts, and spending time with her family, especially her grandson Bentley. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her spouse, Gary Parsons; her children, Alyssa (Colin) Belding of Madison, Jarrid Parsons of Rochester, MN; grandchild, Bentley Belding of Madison; brother Randy (Anita) Albright; mother Marvilyn Albright of Cavour; and special friends, Wayne, Darcy, Gabrielle, Gavin and Graysen Noack.

She was preceded in death by her father, Douglas Albright; her grandparents; her ex-husband Derrick Dalton.
